A must have for any serious collector of Oceanic antiquties. We have 2 U'U clubs available with this being the later one (late 19th early 20thC).  War was an inevitable part of life on the Marquesis Islands of Polynesia whether it was for territory or to avenge a slight or insult from another group. Sometimes full scale organised pitch battles would be organised whereas there would be multiple smaller scale ambush situations to resolve differences. During these battles various weapons would be used but the U U club was the most prized of all. It denoted high status within the tribe and would consist of a human face at the head of the club with smaller heads contained within to denote the eyes and nose.
